How it started
Carrom was the game that filled our own childhood evenings — gully tournaments, striker tricks picked up from older kids, the satisfying click of a clean pocket. We noticed fewer kids get that chance today, and even fewer get proper coaching in the basics: grip, stance, angles, and the patience the game actually teaches.
Carrom Champs Academy started as a way to pass that on properly — structured sessions instead of random practice, with a coach watching technique instead of just keeping score.
What we focus on
We work with kids at different stages — some have never touched a striker, others already play at home and want to get sharper. Sessions are built around fundamentals first: finger position, stance, and reading the board, before moving into shot-making and match play.
We also care about the things carrom quietly builds — focus, patience, and handling a loss or a miss without giving up on the next shot.
