Amboy Ave Bakehouse started in a rented church kitchen with one mixer and a dream to bring proper, slow-fermented bread to Edison. Today we're still family-run, still mixing dough at 4am, and still weighing every loaf by hand.
We use local NJ flour when we can, real butter always, and we never freeze our dough. If you've walked past our ovens on a cold morning, you already know why people line up.
Our sourdough and pastries sell out most mornings by 10am. Order ahead and we'll have it ready at pickup.
